Software PQ

PQ is an innovative software of its kind. It is innovative in the database - Microsoft SQL, innovative for the data management - all the data are encrypt, innovative for the integrated document management – PDM, innovative for the programming language that is used - DOT.NET, innovative for the interface that is used - Autocad. It is divided in many modules, it makes the user find easily the most suitable version. The outlook style interface is user-friendly. In order to meet the needs of the less expert users, the software saves atuomatically any operation that is performed, therefore also even when there is a black-out and the pc is turned off, when re-starting it the data are always updated.
The software is divided in three main areas:
- PQPDM
- PQUOTE
- PQCAD
PQPDM

PQPDM
PQPDM is the heart of the software. Offers, projects, files are managed by this modules. The PDM in PQ actually allows the project management as it is possibile to manage price offers and reviews, plans and any kind of attachment. The user is therefore sure that nothing will be lost as all the documents are recorded in a shared and safe place. For instance, if I receive a fax from a supplier with price information, it is possibile to attach it to the project and have it always available without looking for it in the pc or ask the collegue for it.
If an offer is in use, it will be possible to open and examine it.

PQuote
Create your offer in an accurate way. The interface to insert the data will seem a known one, as it is the same of CAD. Confusion will therefore be avoided. When opening the offer it is possible to manage discounts and price increases for every price list and afterwards for any line of the offer. It is possible to change the features of each item by using a side menu or choosing it directlty from the grid. Obviously all the typical commands of a grid are available: copy, paste, cancel, drag the line, sort, all the commands the user can usually see in any other software. If an item is not available, or if the user needs to insert a personalised price-list, it is possible to create all the articles by a dedicated interface. It is possible to create different printing patterns and headings and to choose which one to use on the spot. Morevoer, before printing the offer, it is possible to select many optins to choose the field. The cost analysis helps being aware of te real profit of the project. An easy-to-read table summerises costs, percentage and value of the profit for each item. Different levels of customisation in the set-up part, allow to fix many features of the software.

PQCAD
It is based on Autocad and it allows to create the plan of the structure. The interface is integrated in Autocad by a tear-off panel. This main panel is divided in areas: article insertion, data management with offer, achitectural, layer, tie-ins, layout (views and rendering). It is possible to draw the plan with fittings, floor and ceiling, by specific tools created by us. The insertion of the items is carried on by drag&drop from an interface where it will be possibile to select the kind of item (special, alternative, optional...), to change descritpions, prices, tie-ins, accessories. This interface will be the same one of the offer. The tie-in panel allows to manage their positions for every item. Every article in the drawing has the position of the related tie-in inside to allow a quick and precise set-up of the tie-ins, with the related automatic sizing. Once the set-up and sizing are finished it is possible to create quickly the related printings. There are also the commands for an easy management of the rendering to create professional and brilliant presentations and increase the value of our project. The possibility to create and save customised keys gives an added value to the project as well, as it is not tied to standards keys.
